A window on a lady’s bedroom: a fascinating photo project
Italian photographers Gabriele Galimberti and Edoardo Delille have given us a tour of places where a regular person isn’t usually allowed to go. From Argentina to Zimbabwe, from a room in Dubai to one in Rio de Janeiro, from a Haitian house without basic amenities to luxurious apartments in China, this project proves that a bedroom is not just the place where we sleep.
It expresses your dreams and aspirations; the personality, character, religious preferences and the openness of its owner. All of the women who participated in this project are unlike one another. They all come from different levels of society and different cultures.
The photographers weren’t interested in making a point about how these women look or what condition their rooms are in; their main goal was to show how the belongings of people differ depending on their geographic location or social background.
Here are the most interesting shots from this project.
