Ready-to-eat chocolate cake

Ingredients:

  • 300 g of cookies
  • 150 g of butter
  • 3-4 tablespoons of cocoa butter
  • 250 g of cream cheese

  3. Now it’s time to make the filling. Begin to whisk the cream cheese whilst periodically adding the powdered sugar.
  4. Stir the mixture thoroughly one more time. Now for the main ingredient — the chocolate! First, heat it up until it’s melted. Allow it to cool down slightly, then mix it together with the cream cheese.
  5. Whisk the cream in a separate bowl until light and airy.
  6. Add the cream to the mixture, stirring with a small spoon. Try to maintain the frothy, bubbly consistency.
  7. Once the mix is of a uniform consistency, take the now-hardened cake base out of the refrigerator. Spread the chocolate cream evenly across it. Place the completed cake in the refrigerator for around 4-5 hours. Sprinkle with cocoa powder or decorate with fruit, nuts or even sweets according to taste. The cake is now ready to eat!

Chocolate fudge

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of butter (for spreading on the baking tray)
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 240 g of chocolate chips
  • 1 cup of Nutella
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt

  1. Grease the base and sides of a 20×20 cm baking tray with butter and cover with parchment paper, leaving around 5 cm of extra paper on each side.
  2. Mix the condensed milk, vanilla extract, chocolate chips, Nutella and pieces of butter together in a medium-sized glass bowl.
  3. Place the bowl over a medium-sized saucepan containing some lightly boiled water. The amount of water should be small enough so that it does not touch the bottom of the glass bowl. Continue to stir the mixture until the chocolate has melted and the mixture becomes smooth (this should take around 5-7 minutes).
  4. Pour the mixture on to the baking tray.
  5. Use a knife to spread the mixture evenly across the tray. Sprinkle it with salt. Place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  6. Once the fudge has cooled down, heat up a knife by holding it under some hot water, dry it, and cut around the edges of the baking tray in order to divide it up. Using the parchment paper, remove the fudge from the baking tray. Remove the paper, and cut the fudge into 2×2 cm squares.
