Salma Hayek Posts Emotional Tribute to the Late Matthew Perry, Leaving 3+ Million People in Tears

The actress posted some pictures of her and the actor who passed away. One of the pictures showed them behind the scenes, and she also shared a short message from Perry where he said that their movie was one of his favorite projects he ever did.

Salma Hayek is feeling very sad about Matthew Perry’s death.

They became close friends while making the movie Fools Rush In in 1997. She said that over the years, they had lots of nice moments together, filled with good memories and thankfulness.

“Two days ago, I woke up to the shocking news that Matthew Perry is no longer with us. It’s taken me a couple of days to process this profound sadness,” she shared. She explained that when you share your dreams with someone and work together to achieve them, a special bond forms between you.

She also mentioned that she was taken aback when she found out what the actor thought about the movie.

She was surprised to hear that Matthew Perry really liked the movie Fools Rush In. She mentioned that last year, he shared on his Instagram stories how much he loved it and believed it was probably his best film, especially the one they worked on together.

Salma also mentioned that she and Matthew would often look back on that special time in their lives with a strong feeling of nostalgia and gratitude. She said that even though he left us too soon, she will always treasure his sense of humor, determination, and kind heart. She concluded with a farewell message to Matthew, saying: “Farewell, sweet Matthew, we will never forget you.”
