7 delicious dishes for everyday meals

Bacon and beans in tomato sauce

You will need:

  • 200 g of canned beans
  • 100 g of bacon
  • 250 g of tomato sauce (or 100 g of tomato paste)
  • Olive oil, to taste

How to make it:

Fry the bacon and beans with olive oil. Add the tomato sauce, black pepper and salt (you can also add paprika and basil). Stew the dish for a couple of minutes. 

Tuna and spinach pasta

You will need:

  • 250 g of pasta
  • 100 g of canned tuna
  • 250 g of frozen spinach
  • 150 ml of half cream (10%)

How to make it:  

Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Heat up a pan and cook the spinach to unfreeze it. Add the tuna and cream, and stew the sauce for several minutes. Sprinkle the sauce with salt and pepper and combine it with the pasta. Toss everything together.  

Quick and easy casserole

You will need:

  • 100 g of broccoli
  • 100 g of cauliflower
  • 150 g of champignons
  • 1 cup of asparagus beans
  • 100 g of hard cheese
  • 150 ml of milk
  • 6 eggs
  • Seed oil
  • Salt and pepper

How to make it:

Cut the broccoli and cauliflower into florets. Slice the champignons. Grease a baking mold with oil and place the vegetables and mushrooms in it. Whip together the eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour the batter over the vegetables. Sprinkle the casserole with the grated cheese and bake for 40 minutes at 180° C. Let the dish cool down and cut it into servings. 

Minced beef Stroganoff with champignons

You will need:

  • 150 g of champignons
  • 1 onion
  • 50 g of butter
  • 1 kg of minced beef
  • 4 tablespoons of flour
  • 2 cups of beef broth
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • Salt and pepper, according to taste
  • 400 g of egg noodles

How to make it:

Boil the noodles and drain it into a colander. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large pan. Slice the mushrooms and onion and fry them with the butter for 5 minutes at medium temperature. When they get soft, put them in a bowl.

Melt the rest of the butter in the same pan. Fry the minced beef until it gets brown. Add the flour and broth and cook until the sauce thickens a bit. Add the champignons and sour cream and stir carefully. Flavor the sauce with salt and pepper. Cook it for several minutes, but do not bring it to a boil. Place the noodles on a plate and pour the meat sauce over them.

Caprese salad with chicken and avocado

You will need:

  • 1 chicken breast
  • 1 pack of Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 avocado
  • Salt and pepper
  • 200 g of lettuce
  • 7 or 8 cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup of basil

For the dressing:

  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar
  • 1/3 cup of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

How to make it:

Combine the grated garlic, dried basil, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Pour in the olive oil, whisking the sauce constantly. 

Cut the chicken breast into pieces and roast for 5 to 6 minutes. Cut the cherry tomatoes into halves and the avocado into cubes. Slice the Mozzarella.

Lay the lettuce at the bottom of a large bowl, then add the chicken, tomatoes and avocado and pour on the sauce. 

Rice with chicken, mushrooms and asparagus beans

You will need:

  • 1/2 cup of rice
  • 500 g of chicken breast with the skin
  • 250 g of asparagus beans
  • 200 g of champignons
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper

How to make it:

Put 1/2 cup of rice and a glass of water in a pot and bring it to a boil. Cover the pot and turn the heat down to low. Cook the rice for 10 to 15 minutes until the water is completely gone. Cut the chicken breast into small pieces and roast them for 5 minutes until a golden crust appears. If you fry the chicken with its skin, you don't need to add any oil. Chop the garlic.

Add the beans, sliced mushrooms and a tablespoon of olive oil. Fry them for 5 minutes and add the chopped garlic. Add the cooked rice, and sprinkle the dish with salt and pepper. Cook for several minutes to heat up the rice.

Baked salmon

You will need:

  • 1 kg of salmon fillets 
  • Salt and pepper, according to taste
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Parsley
  • The juice from 1 lemon 

How to make it:

Rinse the salmon fillets. Season them with salt and pepper and grease them with the olive oil. Chop the parsley and slice the onion into half-moons. Add a little bit of olive oil, salt and pepper to the onion. Place the salmon on a baking sheet; sprinkle them with the parsley and lemon juice. Lay the onion slices around the salmon. Bake the dish for 20 minutes at 200° C.
