Priyanka Chopra Gives Us the Sweetest Glimpse of Daughter Malti’s First Visit to Mumbai

Priyanka Chopra gave us a touching glimpse into one of the highlights of baby Malti’s childhood. The actress introduced her 14-month-old to the Indian side of her heritage as she was visiting her native country. And the series of pics of this sweet mom and daughter duo certainly didn’t leave us indifferent.

A spiritual stop

The Bollywood-turned-Hollywood actress visited a Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai with her toddler during her trip to India to promote her new series Citadel. Chopra wore a traditional Indian dress while her forehead was embellished with a bindi.

The former beauty queen shared snaps with her over 80 million Instagram followers of her holding Malti Marie, who just sat back and took in the beautifully decorated Hindu temple.

She captioned the post ’’MM’s first trip to India had to be completed with Shree Siddhivinayak’s blessings 🙏🏽❤️’’ The star also added the hashtags #HanumanJayanti, which refers to a Hindu festival, and #GanpatiBappaMorya, which is a nod to a chant.

Nick was also in India with his wife and daughter.

Just a few days ago, the actress shared a series of pics of her and her ’’forever guy’’ all dressed up for a “date night.”

The couple was attending an event that celebrates the inauguration of a Cultural Centre, which aims to showcase and preserve Indian arts.

In another Instagram post about her trip to Mumbai, Chopra made sure to pay tribute to her Indian heritage saying, ’’The history of our nation is so awe-inspiring.’’

She also admitted that she ’’may have shed a few tears of pride!’’ as she watched the debut of a musical called Civilization to Nation.

These proud parents are always making sure that Indian culture has an essential place in their daughter’s life. In fact, Malti is a Sanskrit name that means moonlight or small flower.

And a few months ago, Malti experienced her first Diwali celebration which is India’s most significant holiday of the year.
