The one important reason why children should always sleep in the dark

When we sleep, our bodies repair and restore our biological systems. So it's important that nothing disturbs our rest - neither sounds nor excessive light - in the latter case because the hormone melatonin is produced in darkness. And when we have enough of this hormone, we get sick less often and we're generally happier.
