Hahaha. Florals aren't dated and plenty of women look great with shorter hair. I like my hair long but I don't have the face shape for a cute pixie.
Also, leave my cardigans out of this. Some dresses look great with the right cardigan. They don't always come as a matched set and look matronly. But I'm 31 and unsure if the target age for this was any age or just "older ." Honestly I think women look just fine in all of these. Posture, mood, etc. can make things look better/worse.

I disagree on almost every point and I don't belong to the younger ladies. I have to wear glasses (since over 30 years now) and wouldn't change to lenses for anything; you just have to find the right shape and color for them so they don't let you look older. It's not about what is "in" or the "coolest" glasses available, it's about your own taste and what you feel comfortable in. .... I look at least 10 years older when I let my hair grow longer and all ladies I know have the same "problem"! All hair dressers agree with me. .... Floral prints are also a question of good taste and what fits together. If you take a blouse with many small flowers and lots of various colors you will surely look oldfashioned, but if you take one background color with only a few matching colored flowers (and not too small) and add a skirt or pants in only one color that matches one of the flowers, it will look just great. .... On the other hand, don't take so called "floral" designs where you don't even know what it's showing, just because some fashion magazine is exciting about them. They don't care how bad you look, they just want to sell and make money. ... The dress you are posting is really oldfashioned, BUT it's not the floral design alone, that would look awful even if it was in the pastel colors you suggested, because the shape looks like it comes from the 60's or 70's. You always have to put everything together. .... And why not 'oversized clothes'?? You don't have to overdo it and take 3 sizes bigger, but lots of ladies look ten times better (and younger) wearing oversized shirts or blouses than tight fit!! Most of us just don't have Naomi Campell figures and sizes. So don't let the media tell you stupid "rules" to follow, use your common sense and mirrors at home. .... Btw, your postings about cardigans ARE really bad, I wouldn't wear one of them, even if it was really cold. And wearing a blazer in the Winter underneath a topcoat is everything else but comfortable. .... So, all in all - this whole posting *11 Details That Can Make You Look Older* makes me feel old....
