I read the book "Sapiens, a brief history of humankind" by Yuval Noah Harari and this what he stated there too. He mentions that gossiping is our evolutionary feature.

Through gossiping we get to know who is dangerous and who is not

Well he stated that this is kind of the "nature" that modern people gave to gossiping

I'm not sure about that, Aditya! I always gossip from time to time with my friends and I don't find any of her "dangerous". I think it depends on how the person really is rather than if they gossip or not 😉

I don't find gossip a good thing! Or maybe not when it used to throw dirt on someone else

I have a routine with my mom of always telling each how our day was, I don't know if that gossiping, but I feel like is very good for the both of us

"Gossiping can actually be good for you"? Oh yeah, I'm sure the parents of bullying victims would just LOVE to hear that.
