Bruce Willis’ Wife Emma Reveals They Renewed Their Vows on Their 10th Wedding Anniversary to Keep ’’Memories Safe’’

Bruce Willis and his wife renewed their vows a decade after their marriage in 2009. And on their 14th anniversary, Emma shared a throwback video of the touching ceremony in order to pay homage to their undying love and to remember those carefree and much simpler times in their life.

They celebrated their love.

44-year-old Emma Heming posted a reel on her Instagram which showed clips of the ceremony accompanied by the Coldplay song “Fix You.”

The couple, as well as all the family and friends who attended, wore white and the ceremony took place in the same location where they said their first “I do’s” back in 2009.

At the time, life seemed less complicated for the family as Bruce was still not diagnosed with aphasia, and no one could imagine that he would be facing frontotemporal dementia just a few years later.

Emma noted how happy she was to have celebrated those happy times together and stressed the importance of making everlasting memories.

She wrote, “I’m so happy we did. Seize every opportunity to unite and celebrate with family and friends. Those are the moments and beautiful pockets of memories that you get to hold on to for a lifetime.”

Emma added, “And we get to keep those memories safe and alive for the ones that might not be able to.”

Emma is keeping it real.

A few days ago, the family celebrated the actor’s 68th birthday, and Emma posted a heartfelt message where she got teary-eyed as she thanked his fans for their ’’kind’’ wishes and support.

In an Instagram story she posted that day, the devoted wife admitted, ’’I have started the morning by crying as you can see by my swollen eyes and snotty nose.’’ She added, ’’I just think it’s important that you see all sides of this.’’

She’s keeping herself together for her daughters.

Emma who has 2 daughters with Bruce, mentioned that people often ask her how she is staying so strong despite all the hardships their family has been facing.

But the model explained, ’’I’m not given a choice. I wish I was, but I’m also raising 2 kids in this.’’
She went on sharing, ’’Sometimes in our lives, we have to put our big girl panties on and get to it. And that’s what I’m doing.’’

Having said that, Emma admitted, ’’I do have times of sadness, every day, grief every day, and I’m really feeling it today on his birthday.’’

We admire this woman for her strength and resilience and send all our love to Bruce and his family during these tough times.
