Remarkably good at keeping the water out. These were much better than expected. I took it first to film sharks in shallow water on vacation and it worked perfectly. You can always crop the video later and get better focus. We then took them snorkeling for a good 30 minutes in the sea — still, no problems. I checked the case carefully after and thought maybe a single drip got through, but we did a lot, and it was being shaken about.
