What the Sleeping Position of Your Pet Says About Their Mental State

Get notifications
Our dog is occasionally in the bed. Thunderstorms(wants to come in when the wind starts blowing hard) and extra cold weather mostly(gets to go to bed when we do,) although she gets to cuddle with my husband when I leave tor work weekdays. (It’s only like 15 minutes before he has to get up though) Weekends it’s with me if he’s not off. She likes being in his arms and with me she’s about midway but not in my arms. A few times she’s turned around and hits me in the face with her tail (she has a very long tail - dachshund beagle with a tail almost the length of her body.. it’s not her fault!) No human children yet. Soon enough! Rule will be different, but who knows what our bad dream policy will be.

"If your pet sleeps curled up in a ball between your legs, it is most likely trying to protect itself from unwanted noise that may be disturbing" YES! That's so my puppy!! He does that all the time.

I was used to sleep alone under my soft blanket and not to have any private space invaders ?

oh no, when you get pets forget that "private space" even means. If they truly love you they will follow you just anywhere,, even to the toilet haha

I can't believe this is actually a thing! We used to have a dog and he always stepped between my husband and me. Now I get it, he was just jealous. Cute little thing ?

Turns out pets are so much alike to human. Interesting to know that they feel safe under the blankets like we do, or at least in my case
