15 Cases That Prove Ordering From a Delivery Service Is Like Rolling the Dice

Nowadays, it’s hard to imagine our life without delivery services: clothes, home appliances, food, and even birthday presents rush to us in the trucks of various delivery agents. Though most of them arrive safe and sound, some end up leaving the recipient scratching their head and wondering, “Why me?”

We at Bright Side are happy that the characters of our compilation didn’t get upset but instead grabbed a camera and shared their funny situation with the entire internet. The bonus at the end will show you what delivery trucks look like from inside before the first stop of the day.

“Took 2 months to receive this mushroom grow kit due to a misplaced package slip. It arrived like this.”

When the package is waiting but the recipient hasn’t shown up at the post office:

“My diploma that I spent countless hours and thousands of dollars to get.”

“Hey delivery company, thanks for delivering my wife’s $1,100 phone. I appreciate the care you took. The mailbox is empty btw.”

“This was just delivered. My door opens out.”

“This is how our pizzas arrived.”

“That’s how my iPad arrived.”

How exactly am I supposed to get it out of the mailbox?

“The company where I ordered stationary forgot ONE ruler in my last shipment, so they made another delivery... in this box.”

“Ordered $700 worth of PC parts that arrived like this.”

“Well, UPS finally delivered my TV stand with tempered glass shelves.”

“Got a double cheeseburger delivered. Came with no burger.”

“This is how my dad’s 250-year-old Japanese porcelain pot was delivered.”

“My mom surprised me with the delivery of my favorite pizza & ice cream from Ohio to LA for my birthday.”

She packed it in a cooler on ice & shipped it via a delivery service for $350+ so it could be delivered the next day during my birthday party. The delivery company lost the package for 2 days and delivered it on the 3rd — then they refused to give a refund.

“Ordered flour and some other bits. Postman was not happy. Ooh, Amazon..”

Bonus #1: “Someone else’s groceries were delivered to my door.”

“I put the perishable items in my fridge and I am hoping someone will come knocking.”

Bonus #2: “I’m a UPS driver. This was how my truck looked on the first stop of the day. It’s not even our peak season yet.”

Do you usually get your purchases delivered properly or are you also like one of the lucky folks from our article?

This is so personal that we just can't show it to you.

I don't know how many I would have been if my item was that crashed by a delivery man
