Flight Attendants Shared 30+ Secrets About Their Jobs That Passengers Had No Idea About

So many untrue info in this paper. Whoever wrote it didn’t even bother to have a wide look on Airlines’rules and civil aviation laws in terms of FAs contracts. It’s a pile of narrow-mindedness elements without any overview look. Most facts are false, such as not being pregnant for the first 3 years, or not being hired if you have a birthmark. It all depends on state laws. For instance in France, Germany, Spain is strictly forbidden to enforce such rules. Readers have to be aware of such a nonsense paper. It can only be taken as a « one-person point of view » , based on assumptions, bla-bla, hearsay and rumors but certainly not as a general statement based on proven facts.

Sorry, but you are wrong. Aeroflot will not offer you a job if you have a birthmark on a face, Etihad gives you a contract for first three years that doesn't allow you to get maternity leave, after three years of work there you can get it because you sign another kind of contract. So this all depends on where do you work and there are links in the text – follow them and you will see at which airline company those rules are common.

That is exactly what I am saying. It’s all about not generalizing, which exactly what the article does. And the links are not updated so that it leads the reader to inaccurate information. I’ve been in this industry for over 30 years, working overseas, national, international, with major companies and smaller ones, implementing new laws, writing some, and it is absolutely impossible to draw one single common line for all of them. Then again, the text for instance talks about visible birthmark, not birthmark on your face. This is your personal assumption. And as per links, please, be serious. They direct the reader to YouTube (same type of link, all Russian) ...yoohoo, give me a break : since when YouTube is a reference in terms of reliable information? just don’t spread your little knowledge as if it were the universal truth, it doesn’t make sense.

I was told that you can't take liquid water, but you can take solid ice. Some day I will think ahead to put a bottle in the freezer before a flight.
