Game Night, 2018

But everything changes when the brother of the main character gets kidnapped right in front of the other characters. They can’t even understand if this is a prank or something else. If this continues, this night might be the last night for all of them. The captivating and unpredictable story won’t let you relax until the very end.

The Limehouse Golem, 2016

This movie is an adaptation of Peter Ackroyd’s book, Dan Leno and the Limehouse Golem. The film takes place in Victorian London where a girl is unfairly convicted of a string of murders. But is this all true? An inspector from Scotland Yard has a hard time solving this case — and so will you. Alan Rickman was supposed to play the main role in this movie, but couldn’t due to his disease. However, Bill Nighy was cast and he did a great job. Everyone who loves a good detective story must watch this movie.

6 Souls, 2010

This movie is a classic psychological thriller about a single mother who is a psychiatrist studying dissociative identity disorders. There is nothing unusual about her life until she gets a patient whose disease doctors can’t explain. This movie is scary and Julianne Moore is great in it.

The Magdalene Sisters, 2002

This movie is based on an event that happened back in the ’60s. The Magdalene asylum in Ireland was a place where girls were forced to work almost 24/7 and were beaten and humiliated. Young women would end up in the asylum for a variety of reasons like being too beautiful or for getting pregnant outside of marriage, for example. This movie is really eerie.

In 1990 in Minnesota, detective Bruce Kenner investigated the sexual abuse of a girl named Angela (Emma Watson). The crime was allegedly committed by her father who claims to remember nothing. They seek the help of Professor Kenneth Raines who uses recovered-memory therapy on John Gray to retrieve his memories. Occultism, conspiracies, and mysticism — what else do you need in a great thriller?

Paranoia, 2013

The movie is an adaptation of Joseph Finder’s book, Paranoia. The story is about Adam Cassidy, a 26-year-old low-level employee at a high-tech corporation who hates his job. If anything, you should watch this film to see the great work of actors Liam Hemsworth, Gary Oldman, and Harrison Ford.

Blood, 2012

A young girl was murdered and the case was investigated by 2 policemen who happened to be brothers. Miss Sloane, 2016

This is a political film starring the beautiful Jessica Chastain in the leading role. Elizabeth Sloane is a talented and successful lobbyist who is accused of using illegal lobbyism methods.
