This movie was inspired by the true story of Chris Gardner, a San Francisco salesman. Chris has invested his entire life savings in a device that he can’t sell. His wife leaves him, and he loses his house. Forced to live on the streets, Chris is trying to raise his little son on his own and make it through a stockbroker internship. This is a wonderful movie that teaches us to never lose faith.
Many think that this is a fun children’s animated film, and it is. But it’s also a touching love story, tragic but full of hope. A young Carl Fredrickson meets a girl named Ellie, and they instantly become friends. Years later, Carl marries Ellie and together they dream of traveling together to Paradise Falls and building a house there.
