9 Pairs of Celebs Who Have Feuds and Refuse to Work Together

If you have a person who you try to avoid in your personal life or at work, you’re not the only one. Celebrities also have quarrels and misunderstandings with each other. It can be frustrating, but each conflict can be useful in terms of personal growth. After a few years, you can remember these troubles philosophically.

1. Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker

The conflict started in 2017 when Sex and the City 3 was scheduled to be filmed in the fall but didn’t happen: “The only reason this movie isn’t being made is because of Kim Cattrall. Everyone was looking forward to making this movie, but Kim made it all about her, always playing the victim.”

In 2018, Kim’s brother died and one of the received wishes was from Parker. Cattrall’s reaction was emotional: “Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this very clear (if I haven’t already). You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ’nice girl’ persona.”

2. Leslie Mann and Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston would love to work with Judd Apatow again. But she doesn’t want to communicate with his wife, Leslie Mann, who often appears in his films, as one report says, “Jen longs to star in a comedy with her friend Elizabeth Banks, but a major stumbling block is that Judd might want Leslie to be in the movie too. Leslie is friends with neither Jen nor Elizabeth, and she’s infamous among Hollywood circles for not getting along with his leading ladies.”

3. Jennifer Lopez and P. Diddy

P. Diddy could’ve been the third judge on American Idol season 13, but then he found out that his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez signed on to fill the second spot. The singer refused to take part in the show because he “felt it was a ’her or me’ situation.

4. Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj

During the show, American Idol, both Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj were judges, and a huge feud happened at that time. According to one report, “Mariah doesn’t think Nicki can sing and doesn’t think she should be judging folks. Nicki has been taking all of the jabs, but on this particular day, she lost it.”

5. Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev

This is crazy. [...] We started dating on the show. We started dating in real life. And then we broke up in real life,” Somerhalder and Dobrev commented after their break-up. Although the actors managed to maintain a good relationship, fans don’t expect them to appear on the same set.

6. Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy

There were rumors that Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy had a conflict while filming Mad Max, until Zoë Kravitz later confirmed it, saying, “They didn’t get along.” Years later, Theron and Hardy confirmed the feud themselves in the New York Times. Theron said, “And I think because of my own fear, we were putting up walls to protect ourselves instead of saying to each other, ’This is scary for you, and it’s scary for me too. Let’s be nice to each other.’ In a weird way, we were functioning like our characters: Everything was about survival.”

7. Emma Watson and Channing Tatum

Emma Watson refused to shoot with Channing Tatum. She walked off while filming This Is the End. Seth Rogen, who was the director of the movie, however, wasn’t offended, saying, “She came back the next day to say goodbye. She helped promote the film.”

8. Tina Fey and Paris Hilton

Fey was very judgemental of Paris Hilton. She once said about the famous blonde, “Really, my thing with her is that I feel that she could not be a worse role model, and I find it so weird that lots of little 12 and 13-year-old girls really admire her. But I didn’t make anything better by losing my temper.”

Years passed before Fey admitted that her mom was actually offended by this comment about Hilton.

9. Ariana Grande and Victoria Justice

In one interview, Ariana Grande noted, “I worked with someone who told me they’d never like me. But for some reason, I just felt like I needed her approval. So I started changing myself to please her. It made me stop being social and friendly. I was so unhappy.”

A couple of years later, Grande said that Victorious ended “because one girl didn’t want to do it.”

Do you have a person in your life that you try to avoid? Why do you feel this way?
