Kate Hudson is funny, bubbly, successful, smart, and beautiful. But if there’s one thing the actress has become synonymous with, it’s her empowerment journey. At 43 years old, the star has never been wiser with the inspiring life advice she shares. On this International Women’s Day, she seemed to be in her usual high spirits and conveyed heartfelt sentiments to all the women in her life.

Celebrating Women’s Day in an exceptional way

The Glass Onion star wore a plunging black swimsuit to enjoy an ice bath with a friend. The actress was seen laughing and joking as she emerged from the freezing water with a wide smile on her face. She completed her attractive look with black socks and wrote an uplifting message in celebration of International Women’s Day. In fact, Hudson is known for her active lifestyle and dedication to fitness and empowerment and regularly shares her wellness journey on social media.

Inspirational words for the women in her life

The slow-motion video showed Hudson and her friend holding hands as they took the plunge, and in her message, she acknowledged the importance of women in her life who inspire her every day. “How you love. How you nurture. How you laugh. How you hold space. How you inspire... How you take the plunge together! Gets us through it all,” the star said before ending her message with a note of gratitude.

Hudson’s friend, Angi Greene, joined her for the ice bath and was also sporting a black swimsuit, and the 2 of them seemed to be in good spirits as they exited the tub, dripping with water.

Wedding plans on the way

The actress recently attended fashion week events in New York City and spent time with her family while on the trip. And in a recent podcast, Hudson, who was previously married to the lead singer of the Black Crowes from 2000 to 2007, revealed her excitement about planning her wedding to partner Danny Fujikawa, whom she shares a daughter with.

While she considers having a small, intimate wedding, she also contemplates having a big bash and even a traditional Japanese ceremony to honor Fujikawa’s heritage. She believes that whether the wedding is big or small, traditional American or Japanese, her family and friends will have to travel to attend, making it an adventure that they will want to show up for.
