Keanu Reeves’ Girlfriend Finally Revealed Why She Refuses to Dye Her Gray Hair
Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant created quite the furor when they appeared on the Red Carpet holding hands and hugging each other in November 2019. Though people have been waiting for Keanu’s new relationship for what seems like too long, they were still surprised by the color of his girlfriend’s hair and by the fact that she refuses to dye it. Turns out, there is a pretty logical explanation for it and Alexandra finally revealed her secret.
We at Bright Side support natural beauty and admire people who are brave enough to stick to their principles — so we are ready to share the secret that stands behind this 46-year-old artist’s gray hair.
After a long break, the main character of The Matrix and John Wick, Keanu Reeves, has finally found his happiness with artist Alexandra Grant. The internet was completely floored because the main knight of the modern world hasn’t been seen in a relationship with any woman since the late ’90s, when he dated actress Jennifer Syme.
However, even though Keanu looks pretty happy now while holding his new partner by her hand, his fans still have a lot of questions about her personality and the color of her hair in particular.
It’s thanks to her hair color that his fans decided Alexandra is too old for him, although she is actually younger. Many fans even mistook Alexandra for Helen Mirren, who is almost 75.
On the 4th of December, the artist decided to shed some light on her look and made an interesting post on her Instagram page.
It was a piece of news that was talking about research that has proven there is a connection between breast cancer and constant hair dying in women.
Alexandra also wrote a comment to go along with the post saying, “I went gray prematurely in my early 20’s... and dyed my hair every color along the way until I couldn’t tolerate the toxicity of the dyes anymore. In my 30’s I let my hair turn ‘blonde’... I love and support that every woman can choose how she wants to look at every age. But/and, if women are perishing from beauty standards... then let’s talk about those beauty standards. Love to all women!”
After this post, it turned out that many fans of hers shared the same opinion and thanked her for speaking out about this.
Moreover, some of her followers got inspired by this idea and perhaps very soon we all are going to see a new beauty-trend in full swing.
Do you think women should always hide their gray hair or is it something we shouldn’t be shy about? We would be glad to hear your opinion in the comments!
