It is not a compliment to tell the Basic Instinct star, Sharon Stone, that she doesn’t look a day over 40. She doesn’t want to be known as an “ageless beauty,” and for her, the idea that youth is the only thing that is beautiful is simply not true. After suffering a life-threatening brain hemorrhage and stroke, her perspective on beauty changed, leading her to view it as taking care of oneself rather than chasing an unrealistic standard. Still, Stone’s radiant appearance continues to stun, proving that true beauty is ageless.

Sharon Stone believes in keeping things simple, especially when it comes to her morning routine.

She starts her day off with just the basics — a splash of water on her face and thorough teeth brushing. It’s a refreshing approach to self-care that proves sometimes less is more. Her shining smile is a testament to the effectiveness of her routine.

She loves using simple and affordable beauty products to keep her skin hydrated.

Moisturizing has been a key component of her beauty routine for many years. One of her most treasured items is an old-school cream that her mother gave her when she was 12 and encouraged her to use twice a day. “She told me, ’Put this on morning and night, and you’ll thank me for the rest of your life,’ and I’m still thanking her 50 years later. It keeps my skin looking plump and radiant,” Stone revealed.

She washes her hair only once or twice a week.

This not only helps her maintain her signature short hairstyle, but it also allows her hair to take a break from constant cleansing. She also believes in switching up her hair care products and keeps at least 4 different brands. But most importantly, by not washing it daily, she allows her hair to retain its natural oils and stay nourished.

Scrubbing is a non-negotiable part of her self-care routine.

She firmly believes in the power of exfoliation to achieve clean and healthy-looking skin. “I think it’s important to scrub your skin regularly,” she said.

“I believe in keeping things simple. Just clean your face well with hot water and a good scrub.” According to her, simplicity is the key to a good skin care routine.

She’s all about embracing individuality when it comes to cosmetic procedures.

Stone understands that everyone has their own unique journey and beliefs for transforming their appearance. “If you want to have plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery, live it up; go ahead and have it. But if you don’t want to have it, don’t have it,” she shared with Harper’s Bazaar.

As for her own journey, she may have experimented with lip injections in the past, which made her look “like a trout,” but now she chooses to embrace her natural beauty.

She prioritizes inner beauty.

Stone understands that true beauty starts from within, and that’s why she chooses to nourish her body by avoiding heavily processed foods, soda, and caffeine. But she also eats things she loves, such as meat and dark chocolate, and doesn’t put restrictions on herself. “I eat like a person, whatever I’m hungry for,” she says.

When it comes to fitness, she finds joy in Pilates, circuit training, and even breaking a sweat through dancing. “For me, it’s more about real inner beauty,” she explains.

Instead of chasing societal standards of youth, she chooses to embrace the natural process of aging with grace and poise. “This idea that being youthful is the only thing that’s beautiful or attractive simply isn’t true. I don’t want to be an ’ageless beauty.’ I want to be a woman who is the best I can be at my age,” revealed Stone.
