We’ve previously asked ourselves how some animated characters would look like without some of their most distinctive features. Now, it’s no makeup time. Although a few of these famous cartoons seem to use little to no face powder, lipstick, or blush, they certainly do look completely different after a no-makeup makeover.

Since, at Bright Side, we love experimenting, we want to share the look of these 17 animated characters without a stitch of makeup. At the end of the article, you’ll find a bonus showing what the new cast of Disney princesses looks like after going for a no-makeup look.

1. Moana

2. Evil Queen

3. Cruella de Vil

4. Mulan

5. Merida

6. Belle

7. Jafar

8. Queen of Hearts

9. Jasmine

O think that they would all have like a natural lashes and a little line

Really cute without make up... But Ursula, her whole style is her make up I can't look at her without her famous lipstick.

I kind of feel like Merida wasn’t wearing any. She was very active so her cheeks would be flushed and her lip color is a normal one. Anything other than a pinkish would be considered lipstick I think. Also.. it may feel like we lose our eyelashes without mascara but they are still there?. Actually, my lashes are stronger and longer when I go without mascara a few days. They just aren’t curled.

Same. I myself cannot use mascara as it will make them look fake when I wear one and become more long. So I try to curl them only.

Honestly, if the curler doesn’t damage skin (even at 32 I have grabbed skin maybe 3 times, ouch!) it’s probably better than a product. You have less money to spend/use on makeup remover..

What kind of curler you use that can damage skin? Maybe you need to change it

I’m glad someone mentioned the eyelash thing! It was my first thought too. So nice to see I’m not the only one who noticed! You still have eyelashes without makeup! C’mon people!

Why do I think some of them actually have no make-up to begin with?

Yes, animated characters can have wonderfully thick lashes, flushed skin, and perfect lips! If only Anna has messy hair then it’s not hard to think that’s just their universe. Haha it’s still fun to see though!

no matter how I love Disney, I think those princeses are bad example (on looks, not their behavior, that's something too deep to dive in right now) for girls. I mean, they all look perfect (they are skin, they all have beautiful hair, makeup no matter how they are poor or where they are right now... list goes on).

Basically what you want to say is that Disney is a whole another utopia i.e a totally unrealistic land although in recent years they had started making movies related to the relevant topics.
