15+ Costumes That Designers Decided Not to Make From Scratch but Borrow From Other Movies and Series

Movie costumes are not always created from scratch. Sometimes costume designers borrow props from other movie sets and change them slightly, and we believe there’s nothing wrong with this. After all, it’s nice to see a beautiful costume twice or even 3 times.

The green hat embellished with jewels

This hat was worn by Helen Mirren (Elizabeth I) in the 2005 miniseries, Elizabeth I, and Natalie Dormer
(Anne Boleyn) in the 2007 series, The Tudors.

The green and beige patterned waistcoat

This jacket was worn by Hugh Laurie (Mr. Palmer) in the 1995 movie, Pride and Prejudice, and James McAvoy (Tom Lefroy) in the 2006 film, Becoming Jane.

The floppy mesh bonnet
