    That’s when my husband got upset: “Mom, just take one of my childhood photos and look.” She did, and sure enough, our daughter looked exactly like him, except for the eye color. She left us alone.

  • My boyfriend invited me to his grandfather’s milestone birthday party. He warned me that his grandfather was a very stern man.
    We walked into the house, and the grandpa was sitting there in low spirits. Then he stood up, took 3 steps, and suddenly froze. I stood there in amazement too. My boyfriend looked at me, then at my legs, and burst out laughing.
    It turned out that his grandfather and I walk exactly the same way — with a slight little hop on the left foot and a bit of a lean to the side. On top of that, we both adjust our watches every 2 minutes.
    The grandpa silently went to the kitchen and brought out a second cake, and ever since then, I’ve been his favorite guest, even though we aren’t related.

    Then her mom’s cousin, whom she met for the first time, joined the conversation and held out her hand too, revealing that this “unique signature” was actually a trademark passed down through 3 generations of women in the family.

My mother-in-law just sent all the Christmas pictures she took of my daughter (literally 150 pics and all of them adorable). I felt like I’ve seen this facial expression before.

  • When I was born, I looked amazingly like my grandfather. And not like my grandfather as a child (he was born in 1918, and no one knows what he looked like as a child), but like my grandfather exactly as he looked at the time I was born: the same serious expression, high forehead, and face shape.
    So when my future godfather, a close friend of my dad’s, saw me for the first time, he immediately said, “Oh, it’s Peter Smith!” Later on, I noticed it myself too, looking at my childhood photos next to my grandfather’s!

  • Every day, I go out in a different outfit, and many people think I’m the most fashionable girl in class or assume my family is wealthy. But the truth is, I have 4 sisters who are close in age, have similar figures, and wear the same clothing size, so we share our clothes with one another.
    Everyone is happy, and we never get upset if one of us borrows something that belongs to another, even without asking. After all, we’re sisters — the closest people in each other’s lives and best friends.
