This Bird Has Unique Feet That Look Like Feathers (12 Pics)

There are around 18,000 species of birds in the world. And we mostly know about the most popular ones. But this time let’s look at a unique bird that you’ve probably never heard of. It’s called a Coot and it’s too cool.
When we at Bright Side first looked at this bird we saw nothing out of the ordinary. But then we noticed its feet and decided to show them to you.
And there are a wide variety of them: Eurasian, American, Andean and even Hawaiian Coots. They have slight differences, but the one thing that remains the same is their feet.
They are yellowish or orange and have long gray toes. But we think that their feet look like feathers.
And we will say nothing more. Let's just enjoy these wonderful birdies.
We just have one thing to add. The shape of their feet is not just aesthetically beautiful, but it helps them when they are in the water.
And it's probably one of few birds that looks great both in water and on land.
Would you like to see this bird in person? Which other birds do you know of that have unique features? Tell us more about them in the comments.
