Snow White is the most proportionally correct Disney princess since animators drew her from a real-life model and were tasked by the big man Walt himself to make her look more realistic and less cartoony. In many of our favorite movies and shows, there tend to be older actors who play the roles of teenagers, and a lot of the time, we don’t even notice it. Limitations, such as how long teenagers can work in one day and school duties, tend to restrict a lot of teenage actors to be cast. That’s why producers tend to pick older actors in order to avoid these restrictions.

When cartoon designers use animals or other creatures to give life to their characters, they grant them so much personality that it’s inevitable to see them as human-like beings. So much so, that it wouldn’t be difficult to imagine them as our next-door neighbors (which cartoon character would you pick as your neighbor?). But what would they look like if they were actually human?

To be an actor is to make the audience believe that the characters you play are as real as the audience is. But what’s more challenging is to portray a real-life figure that almost everyone around the globe knows. It can take an ocean of effort to find an actor who would be able to dive into the stories of a famous person and amaze us with their talents once more.
