A Photographer Gives Bicycles to Kids to Save Them From Walking for Hours to School Every Day

The goal of photographer GMB Akash is to alleviate people’s suffering for at least one day. To do this, he doesn’t just help children in need to get an education, but he also gives them bicycles to make their journey a bit easier.
One of the kids’ mothers couldn’t help but cry after seeing the gift: “My daughter has had a hard time walking about 6 miles every day. After coming back home, sometimes she’d cry from the aches in her legs. Because of this, many girls from our village have stopped going to school. Today, you have fulfilled that very dream that I have been dreaming of for such a long time.”
Bright Side wants to share some of the photos taken from this initiative.
