I went in a shop once that had no hooks on the wall in the changing room. There was no chair, and the door handle was a weird, slide handle (like on restroom stalls), so you couldn't even hang anything on the handle. I had several items to try on and I didn't want to dump them on the floor. I came out and mentioned the issue to the associate. She was like, "Yeah. That's so people don't just leave items hanging in there." I just handed her my items and left.
