“closer than ever,” according to People magazine. After all, they know how precious every moment is, and they are making sure to surround him with their affection.

According to People, Emma Heming Willis, Bruce’s wife of 13 years, ’’couldn’t be more grateful’’ for having the ’’biggest support system.’’

And Emma, who shares daughters Mabel, 10, and Evelyn, 8, with the actor, is ’’trying to make as many positive memories for them as she can.’’ The source adds, ’’She wants them to remember Bruce as an amazing, fun dad. She wants them to have the best memories of him.’’

67-year-old Bruce is also dad to 3 daughters with ex-wife Demi Moore: Rumer Willis, 34, Scout Willis, 31, and Tallulah Willis, 29, and he is soon to become a grandfather for the first time.

This blended family has always been tight-knit over the years and the actor loves being a family man, which is his priority. A source had revealed that, ’’Bruce is enjoying not working and having more family time. He likes being around his girls more.’’

And when they broke the news about the progression of the star’s condition, the family made a joint statement and signed it with the names of his 5 daughters, his wife, and his ex-wife.

In the message, they expressed how it is important to raise awareness about the disease, saying, ’’Bruce always believed in using his voice in the world to help others.’’ They added, ’’We know in our hearts that — if he could today — he would want to respond by bringing global attention and a connectedness with those who are also dealing with this debilitating disease.’’

They also noted, “Bruce has always found joy in life — and has helped everyone he knows to do the same.”

The ladies’ in the star’s life also made sure to thank everyone who surrounded them for their support, saying, ’’We have been so moved by the love you have all shared for our dear husband, father, and friend during this difficult time.’’
