How Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston Showed the World That It’s Possible to Be Close Friends After a Breakup
After recently being captured together for the first time in a while, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’s relationship started to be widely discussed again. They do look very happy and emotional in the photos, however it is not what it seems at first sight.
Bright Side sees the whole story of their relationship from an angle that proves that a friendship is a thing that can go through many obstacles and still stay real.
A respectful end to a beautiful story
The Hollywood stars first met in 1994, thanks to their managers’ friendship. “He was just this sweet guy from Missouri, you know?” says Aniston about Pitt in an interview. They shared similar tastes in music, and it’s interesting that they announced their engagement on the stage of a Sting concert in 1999. They married in 2000.
However, sadly enough, this marriage didn’t last for long — they broke up in 2005. The couple released a statement saying that the reason for their breakup was not the result of any of the speculations reported by the tabloids, but it was more of a deliberate decision: “We happily remain committed and caring friends with great love and admiration for one another.”
That was it, they finalized their divorce in October of 2005. Even though this was the most sensational topic for the media to discuss and there was a lot of unpleasant gossip that was spread, Aniston and Pitt remained silent about all of it. In her first interview after the divorce, Aniston said: “We exited this relationship as beautifully as we entered it.”
Never talking bad about each other
Not long afterward, Pitt and Jolie started to appear in public together. Of course, as Aniston said, it was quite difficult for her to cope with this. However, neither of them said anything disrespectful about the other, not back then and not in the years that followed. Later, Aniston once more, mentioned, that, Brad actually never did anything wrong when they were together.
Pitt married Jolie in 2014, and Aniston married Justin Theroux in 2015. A few years later both of them divorced.
Starting to chat again
On Jen’s 50th birthday in 2019, Brad was among the guests at her party and it showed that they were still good friends. Both of them have repeatedly confirmed that they are just friends.
They will “Always remain friends.”
They were captured together at the SAG Awards in January 2020 for the first time in years. During the show, Jen was laughing at and applauding Brad’s speech, and when Aniston won an award, Brad was watching from backstage.
Again, news about their reunion were everywhere. Singer Melissa Etheridge, who is a friend of both of them, was asked about their relationship. However, her answer dispelled the intrigue: “I loved Brad and Jen together, they were beautiful, and I believe they will always remain friends because they’re 2 very special people who can get through anything.”
Gwyneth Paltrow’s candid confession about her heartbreak post her split with Brad Pitt, despite their intense love, still resonates with fans. Their amicable relationship and mutual respect continue to shine through years later.
A surprising revelation from Christina Applegate sheds light on a lesser-known chapter of Brad Pitt’s life. Before his rise to international fame, Applegate left Pitt mid-date at the MTV Video Music Awards, a decision she regrets to this day.
Before his ascent to stardom, Brad Pitt held various jobs, including working as a limo driver and furniture mover. These humble beginnings serve as a testament to his journey and the hard work that led to his successful acting career.
