Michael Douglas Honors Wife of 23 Years, Catherine, on Mother’s Day

As a way to pay tribute to the mother of his two kids, the 78-year-old actor posted an affectionate homage to Catherine Zeta-Jones, 53, and his poignant words made us fall in love with this couple even more.

A heartfelt message to the woman of his life.

Michael shared with his over 1 million Instagram followers, a vintage picture featuring Catherine along with their two children, Dylan and Carys. He accompanied it with an adorable message wishing his ’’darling’’ a Happy Mother’s Day. He added that she ’’deserves it,’’ saying that she is the best and that him and their children ’’love her so much.’’ He then added a red heart emoji in the end.

Catherine was quick to respond by expressing her gratitude with heart emojis and writing ’’Thank you, thank you.’’

A picture-perfect family.

In 2000, the actress became a mother for the first time when she gave birth to her only son, Dylan Michael, who is now 22 years old. Her younger daughter, Carys Zeta, was born three years later in April 2003.

The kids showed their love as well.

And both children followed their father’s lead, paying tribute to their mother on their Instagram Stories.

Carys posted a picture of herself and her mama on a small boat, dressed elegantly for the occasion. The photo shows Catherine wearing a stunning orange-red gown, while her daughter is seen in a flowing green dress. The 20-year-old wrote ’’Happy Mother’s Day Mummy!!!’’

On the other hand, Dylan shared a photo where he and his mother are captured from the back, holding hands while attending a promotional event for Netflix’s Wednesday, in which Catherine portrays the character of Morticia Addams. He included a GIF with the text ’’Thanks Mom!’’ to his post.

We love how this family is close-knit, and they never miss an opportunity to shower each other with love and affection. Just like the moving messages Michael and Catherine had recently sent to their daughter Carys for her 20th birthday.
