3 years after they first met in a Facebook group, Iris and Mohamed’s love is blossoming increasingly with each passing day.

The enamored duo even celebrated their second wedding anniversary, often giving us romantic glimpses of their journey together.

In one of their videos, the proud millennial declared, ’’I am happy because it’s our second wedding anniversary.’’ He added, ’’I am happy because we are together. I love you so much, our love has grown day by day.’’

Their story began a few years ago.

Iris, 83, who lives in the UK, and Mohamed, 37, who is from Egypt, first met in a Facebook group. Their chemistry was so strong that the young man confessed his love to Iris within a couple of weeks of striking up a conversation. A few months later, she flew to Cairo to meet him in person.

It didn’t take too long for Iris to fall head over heels for the tall, handsome man. The feeling was mutual, and Mohamed, who worked as a quality inspector, even lost his job because he needed time off to spend with Iris.

Iris, who was 80 then, even met his 70-year-old mother, who blessed the lovebirds.

They are true soulmates.

And although their considerable age difference raises some eyebrows, the pair insists that they are deeply in love with each other. Mohamed noted, ’’Love does not know any difference between age or countries. Iris chose me, and I chose Iris.’’

Iris’s 2 sons, on the other hand, who are 19 and 18 years older than Mohamed, had some concerns about the relationship, but Iris insists that the young man is not after her money.

The former cleaner noted, ’’If he’s marrying me for my fortune, he’ll be sadly disappointed because I live on a pension.’’ Later on, the millennial himself also insisted on this, saying, ’’I don’t care where we live or how rich or poor she is, I just want to be with Iris.’’
