A Photographer From Bangladesh Helps Children Get an Education to Free Them From Grueling Jobs

GMB Akash is an award-winning photographer from Bangladesh. For years, he has taken photos in order to raise awareness of several issues that remain in his homeland, like child labor. Now, he’s taken his project to the next level by helping these children stop working at a young age. He asks permission from the families of these children and then sends them to school using his own money.

Bright Side wants to share the pictures of some of these children with you whose lives have been transformed for the better.

Love love love that people are helping children go to school, something so many take for granted. Worthy of thought, ability to learn, worthy of love, worthy of having a life outside of poverty. So many wonderful organizations do things like this, or build a closer well, water in homes, shoes to keep kids from being barefoot and getting sicker. Giving someone a fighting chance to thrive. It’s so much more than giving things. These kids see a future!!!
