A Photographer Takes Vintage Portraits of the “Little Women” Cast to Throw Us Back to the Past

Little Women has become one of the most long-awaited movies of 2019, so it’s hardly surprising that when actors like Emma Watson, Laura Dern, and others get together, we get no less than a masterpiece. To add a little more truthfulness to each of the characters, on-set photographer, Wilson Webb, created an unusual series of portraits for them. For this, he used a special technique called the collodion process that had just been invented in the 1850s.
The Bright Side team wants to show you how the Little Women actors would look if their photos were taken back in the 19th century.
Emma Watson as Meg March
James Norton as John Brooke
Saoirse Ronan as Jo March
Louis Garrel as Friedrich Bhaer
Eliza Scanlen as Beth March
Florence Pugh as Amy March
Timothée Chalamet as Laurie Laurence
Bob Odenkirk as Robert March
Laura Dern as Marmee March
