Bruce Willis’ Wife Reveals the Most Thoughtful Thing Their Daughter Is Doing for Him Amid Dementia Battle

After the news broke of Bruce Willis being diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, we were absolutely floored by the constant love and support the actor has been receiving from his loved ones. But the biggest surprise became his youngest daughter Evelyn, who took her dad’s diagnosis very seriously and helped to prevent one important symptom.

The entire family came together to support Bruce.

Bruce Willis is absolutely blessed to be surrounded by so many loving women, who all remain by his side and are “all closer than ever” after frontotemporal dementia diagnosis. It must be such a relief for his current wife Emma to have his ex-wife Demi Moore and their three daughters lend a helping hand in such trying times.

The source close to the family revealed that Emma “couldn’t be more grateful” for “the biggest support system”. While Heming Willis cares for her husband on the daily basis, she also makes sure that their two daughters Mabel, 11, and Evelyn, 9, “remember Bruce as an amazing, fun dad. She wants them to have the best memories of him.”

His youngest daughter did her own research.

Emma Heming Willis recently gave an update on Bruce’s condition, and shared a touching story of how their youngest, Evelyn, decided to help. Emma wanted to share this special moment because she “was an absolute puddle” after her daughter told her what she did, and promised to get through the story without breaking down again.

Bruce’s wife started out by saying that Evelyn has decided to research “fun facts about dementia” and learned that people with this diagnosis are prone to severe dehydration. Evelyn realized that it’s an important symptom that they need to keep an eye on and told her mom.

Emma was absolutely touched and took the advice very seriously: “I said to her, ’Evelyn, we will always make sure daddy has a bottle of water in hand. Thank you for letting me know. But that is the most loving and compassionate thing that you can do is to be curious and educate yourself on your dad’s disease.’”

Bruce has always loved being a girl-dad.

The famous actor seriously lucked out with his family. He’s a father to five loving daughters: Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah from his marriage to Demi Moore, and Evelyn and Mabel from his current marriage to Emma Heming Willis. Thanks to his girls he learned how to listen, because he wanted to know them as best as he can.

Willis also shared that he taught all his girls to avoid drama and take responsibility for their actions. Clearly, he chose the right parenthood paths as all his three oldest girls grew up to be wonderful and absolutely adore him. And, from this article’s story, we can see that his youngest girls are following in their half-sisters’ footsteps.

Curiously, Bruce’s oldest daughter, Rumer, recently made him a first-time grandpa. And, to no one’s surprise, she also had a baby girl, thus continuing the tradition within the Willis family.
