17 People Who Were Having a Wonderful Day Before Life Decided Otherwise

Life always has its clever ways of reminding us not to take a good day for granted. You can never predict when a huge spider web will welcome you, or your basement’s full ceiling will suddenly collapse. Accepting these little hurdles as part of life instead of letting them destroy our morale is the key to serene living. They can even teach us to appreciate the value of good moments when they come along.
At Bright Side, we love those unexpected situations that have a funny side if we look close enough. With that in mind, we want to share some not-so-great moments caught on camera that we find fascinating.
1. ’’This is how my morning started.’’
2. ’’Never thought it would happen to me. On a 6 hour flight, it touched me 3 times.’’
3. ’’I have many, many questions.’’
4. ’’I parked my Jeep incorrectly.’’
5. ’’The entire dropped ceiling just collapsed in my basement.’’
6. ’’I’m leaving my job after 5 years today, and with over 500 people I work with, this is my goodbye card.’’
7. ’’My girlfriend’s graduation is canceled, so she’s picking up her degree from the student desk.’’
8. ’’My house after I went to buy some fruit’’
9. ’’I got assigned this locker. Guess I don’t have a locker this year.’’
10. ’’Someone cut the cake that was for me today at work without telling anyone in the break room.’’
11. ’’My trip to Mount Rushmore last year’’
12. ’’We finally got some rain out here in California. And then this happened.’’
13. ’’I boiled an egg this morning and I think something went horribly wrong.’’
14. ’’I think I’m going to need a bigger bucket.’’
15. ’’I was extremely sad and couldn’t wait to go home to see my cat to cheer me up. I found out he was more depressed than me.’’
16. ’’I made cake toppers for my wedding and forgot to check the oven’s temperature before putting my fiancée in.’’
17. ’’I bought tickets for my dad and me to see a concert, and this is my seat.’’
How often do you encounter awkward and unfortunate situations? Do you think they are purely the work of bad luck or do we have a hand in them?
