One statistics study shows that only about 56 English-speaking actors currently working are famous. And even though the number of actors who become worldwide stars is small, this doesn’t mean that these people have fully fulfilled their career aspirations. And we might even be shocked to find out that the actors who played our favorite action heroes and leading characters, had their eyes set on a different role in a completely different movie.

Bright Side believes that there are no limits to career ambitions, and as long as we’re setting new goals for ourselves, we’ll always be on the rise. Here are some actors who opened up about their ultimate dream roles.

Keanu Reeves — Wolverine

Even though Hugh Jackman has been portraying Wolverine for the last couple of decades, Keanu Reeves has admitted that he’s “always wanted to play Wolverine.” However, he continued, saying that “it is too late” and that the role ’’was filled really well.’’ Having said that, it seems that the chance of seeing the Matrix star in a Marvel movie isn’t that low, given that the president of the studio revealed that they talk to Keanu for ’’almost every film’’ they make.

Tom Holland — James Bond

He has been portraying the popular and very coveted role of Spider-Man since 2017, however this English actor has revealed that he’s had his eye on another iconic character. As a matter of fact, Tom opened up about his dream of portraying a young James Bond, saying, “Spider-Man is an absolute delight and privilege to play, but... should they want to do a younger James Bond you best believe I would be there.”

Scarlett Johansson — Disney princess

The actress who has graced our screen in many powerful roles, including Natasha in Captain America, has revealed that she dreams of portraying a Disney princess. She went on to say that her young daughter also wishes to see her mom in a fairytale-like role. However, Scarlett has admitted that, “It’s probably not going to happen,” saying, “I’ve been asking for that job for the past 20 years, and nobody has booked me.”

Millie Bobby Brown — Amy Winehouse

The 18-year-old British actress has revealed that her dream is to portray Amy Winehouse in a biopic one day. She went on to explain that the late singer was “an icon to R&B, blues, and basically the whole culture of music.” She added that she "was impacted by her whole story’’ and therefore she is ready to play her when and if the chance arises.

Will Ferrell — Simon Cowell

The comedian has revealed that his dream would be to portray the X Factor and American Idol judge, Simon Cowell, on the big screen. He went on to explain, “It wouldn’t be that hard for me to play him because I see a lot of Ron Burgundy in Simon Cowell.” Ron is one of Will’s previous iconic characters.

Jennifer Lawrence — Bridget Jones

The Hunger Games star has admitted that she would very much like to become Bridget Jones on screen. She went on to explain that this is her go-to film whenever she’s not feeling great, saying, “That’s the movie I put on when I am homesick, although England is not my home.” However, Jennifer added that she would never want to replace Renée Zellweger who plays the title character, she humorously admitted that she just wants ’’the movies to not exist’’ so that she can be Bridget herself.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw — Cleopatra

The English actress had expressed her deep admiration for Cleopatra, who has been her long-time idol. She said, “I’ve been obsessed with her since I was about 12. The power of her as this female leader is just so iconic. Cleopatra is my dream role, so any chance I get to wear something that feels Egyptian, I’m here for it.”

Daniel Radcliffe — Spider-Man

The Harry Potter star has expressed his love for superhero movies. He went on to explain that he would’ve been a “good Spider-Man.” However, Daniel acknowledged that ’’the boat has sailed on that’’ saying that he is very happy to see Tom Holland portraying the superhero and that he believes that he is fantastic in the role.

Radcliffe added that he would be happy to join another franchise on the condition that it’s a short one, because he’s not sure if he’d ’’sign up for something that takes another 7 or 8 films.’’

Can you already imagine these actors in their dream roles? Do you have any actor in mind that you would like to see portraying your favorite character or superhero?
