This is a record that no other celebrity has achieved so far. Today, at 55, she is still one of the most beautiful women, and she attributes her unchanging beauty to several tricks that are worth imitating.

1. Never forgets to wear sunscreen

Julia loves sunbathing and going to the beach with her children, as you might have already seen on her Instagram account. In 2017, she told a magazine: “As a responsible parent with three kids who love to be outdoors, I rely totally on a good sunblock.”

She revealed that she chooses SPF 30 for more active days as it “keeps working no matter how sweaty or how much time we spend in the water! It’s magical.”

2. Never forgets to moisturize her hands

Many people tend to focus only on the face when it comes to skincare, but hands can also show signs of aging. Julia believes that finding a good moisturizer for them is key.

She said, “I put it on my hands after I wash the dishes, and wind up putting it on my elbows and feet. Before you know it, I’ve squeezed this poor little green tube into a twist.”

In another of the many interviews she has given, she confessed that an important part of her daily beauty routine consists of applying a really effective eye makeup remover lotion.

“A lot of times you take off your eye makeup at night, and the next morning you wake up and look like you already put makeup on! But this formula gets rid of every stitch of makeup. For more than six years, it’s the one product I’ve used every day. It’s wonderful!”

Julia Roberts is a busy mom of three, but she always looks radiant and fresh. Genevieve Herr, one of the stars’ makeup artists, revealed that part of the secret to the actress’s natural look is applying a moisturizing, glowing foundation from Lancôme that not only boosts radiance but also reduces fine lines.

This formula lets the skin breathe, and it also has nourishing ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, which works as a plumper, and mandelic acid, which smoothes and refines the skin.

When the actress was asked if her beauty routine was low or high maintenance, she replied, “Low. I could definitely go a little higher.”

Then added: “On a regular day, I’ll just brush my teeth, wash my face, and apply sunblock. I’m a busy mom, and sometimes I just sunblock my kids and run outside and get my nose burned. So I’ve made a stronger effort to take care of myself.”

“I brush [my teeth] with baking soda. [My grandfather] would put a big heaping mound of it on his toothbrush. He had only one cavity in his entire life.”

8. Works out for one hour

Julia Roberts has had to adapt her routine, so she doesn’t need to go to a gym or leave her house, since she is a full-time mom. Because of that, she works out in her home while taking care of her little ones.

She splits her time doing 20 to 40 minutes of step aerobics followed by 40 minutes of bodywork (a series of exercises focused on strengthening the core and reducing inflammation), push-ups, planks (60 seconds each), squats, and crunches. When she can, she alternates this with swimming and running.

In an interview, Julia said that one of her secrets to stay beautiful and radiant is to be happy. “I think optimism and having a sense of humor definitely help, but happiness is something you cultivate. Once you find it, that’s the key to looking beautiful.”
