15+ Celebs Who May Be Wearing Perfume That Is Cheaper Than Yours
In their daily lives, celebrities truly get to pick from the best of the best, whether this means clothes, cars, houses, or pretty much anything they want. However, when it comes to perfumes, you will notice that some of their fragrances of choice aren’t very different from ours.
Bright Side looked into the scents worn by some of your favorite celebrities, highlighting those that don’t require you to break the bank. You might be surprised to see that one of the actresses on this list prefers men’s cologne!
1. Blake Lively
Although Blake Lively is a spokeswoman for Gucci fragrances, she once confessed to wearing Burberry’s The Beat, claiming that it’s “fresh and light but still has an impact.” The bottle is decorated in a pink version of Burberry’s checked pattern, and the top notes of this perfume include pink pepper, mandarin orange, bergamot, and cardamom.
2. Kate Moss
Kate Moss simply can’t leave her house without some perfume on. She rotates between 3 different perfumes, 2 of which are pretty inexpensive — Clarins Eau Dynamisante and Nadia Narain Lua, a natural, synthetic-free rose perfume, made from essential oils.
3. Sofia Vergara
The gorgeous Modern Family star prefers men’s fragrances to women’s, claiming that “men’s colognes with musk, wood, and tobacco notes are so sexy.” In an interview with Shape.com, she revealed her favorite things in the world, which include Hermes Men’s Terre d’Hermes.
4. Hailey Bieber
In an interview with Elle Australia, where Hailey Bieber revealed some of her fashion secrets, the 23-year-old model praised Bond No.9’s West Side. “It smells awesome. I like it because it’s not like a super-girly scent, like a boy or a girl could wear it. And secretly, the reason I know what the scent is is because a boy had been using it, and I was like, ‘I like this for myself, so I’m gonna use it.’” We can only wonder who this boy was!
5. Margot Robbie
Margot Robbie was never someone who doused herself in perfume, but that all changed when she came across Calvin Klein’s Deep Euphoria.
“When I was younger, I never really used [to wear perfumes]. I would just use an essential oil or I would braid some lavender into my hair, but about a year ago I tried Calvin Klein’s Deep Euphoria and I still love it now! It’s a floral scent, like a sweet musky rose, but it’s feminine and isn’t too strong, so I can wear it [every day]” she said in an interview with Marie Claire.
6. Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez loves fruity and vanilla-based scents, and one of her favorite perfumes is Marc Jacobs’ Daisy, which features fruity, strawberry notes. If you want to smell like Selena Gomez, this approachable summer fragrance can be yours without breaking the bank.
7. Chris Hemsworth
Chris Hemsworth is not a fan of your typical perfume. His scent of choice is the earthy, versatile Hugo by Hugo Boss, with undertones of sandalwood and citrus that works just as well in summer, as it does in the colder winter months.
8. Vanessa Hudgens
Although Vanessa Hudgens likes to switch her scents up, one of her favorites remains Aquolina’s Pink Sugar.
“I am going through a bunch of different ones. In the past, it’s traditionally been Aquolina Pink Sugar Sensual. It’s really sweet. But the older I’m getting, the more spicy I want my scent to be, so I’m trying out all sorts of new things,” she said when asked about her fragrance in an interview with Hollywood Life.
9. Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus’ fragrance of choice is quite a mature one, opting for the elegant-smelling Iris Nobile by Acqua di Parma. This isn’t the fragrance we would have guessed the youthful American singer wears, but when it comes to Miley Cyrus, you should always expect the unexpected.
10. Zayn Malik
The former One Direction star, who decided to pursue a solo career, likes to stay fresh in summery fragrances. He is a big fan of Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue for Men, an inexpensive, easily accessible perfume with notes of Sicilian Mandarin, rosemary, and musk.
11. Sienna Miller
Sticking to her British roots, Sienna Miller is a big fan of Jo Malone’s perfumes, and her favorite is the citrusy Lime Basil and Mandarin, which is priced as low as $70. It is their signature scent — a fragrance that has been around for 21 years now but that continues to remain quite popular.
Rihanna likes to rotate between 2 different perfumes — Escada’s discontinued Moon Sparkle, as well as Hello Kitty’s Momoberry, which is quite an interesting choice. Despite what one may think, this fruity-floral scent nicknamed “sunshine in a bottle” is far from a childish fragrance, and it can be bought for as low as $45.
13. Christina Aguilera
Although Christina Aguilera also likes to wear her own fragrance, Inspire, which is a combination of all her favorite scents, the legendary pop star likes to rotate with Frank Olivier’s Sun Java perfume, a floral and fruity fragrance that is a perfect choice for the summer.
14. Ashley Graham
Chloe Eau De Parfum is not only Ashley Graham’s favorite fragrance, it is also something that she can’t live without! This light and fresh scent is known to be quite versatile, with top notes of peony, freesia, and lychee.
15. Lebron James
Lebron James, one of the greatest basketball players of all time, likes to stay smelling fresh with Dolce and Gabbana’s The One. Just like the NBA champion, this scent is powerful, packing quite a punch with notes of tobacco, warm cardamom, and basil.
16. Gigi Hadid
Speaking to Intothegloss, American fashion model Gigi Hadid shared her beauty secrets, and when it comes to fragrances, she said: “I have the Tom Ford Velvet Orchid perfume, but that’s for nighttime because it’s definitely not a light fragrance. It’s what I’ll wear if I have a really cool event to go to.”
17. Kylie Jenner
Kylie Jenner is a huge fan of make-up, but what kind of fragrances does she like to wear? Believe it or not, she isn’t a big fan of perfume, claiming that they sometimes give her headaches. However, she admitted that sometimes she uses Victoria’s Secret Coconut Passion Spray.
