That's so very heartwarming for the both of them. I'm glad they finally got to meet.
Adele Met Her Idol at the Grammys, and It Was an Astonishing Moment

Having an idol means that you admire and look up to someone, whether it’s a celebrity, family member, or even a friend. But if it’s someone you haven’t met before, and you finally get a chance to meet them, it can be one heck of a dream come true — even if you’re somebody’s idol yourself. That moment of joy may feel like all the stars have aligned when you come face-to-face with someone who had a huge impact on your life.

Adele has met many celebrities throughout her career, but not the one she idolizes the most. “Someone I’ve never met that I think I would actually cry is The Rock, but I know he goes by Dwayne Johnson now.” When Adele was younger, she was also “the biggest wrestling fan.”
The gorgeous singer was so close to meeting him at her concert one time, but fate decided otherwise. “He sent me flowers the other day because he and his wife couldn’t make my show. Literally, I fell off my chair. He’s amazing. He’s just incredible. I just want him to be my mate. I want him to be my friend.”

During the 2023 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, Adele was nominated for 7 trophies. Both she and The Rock were present at the ceremony, however, she had no idea he would be there and got caught off guard when the host, Trevor Noah, introduced the 2.
Adele was sitting next to her boyfriend, Rich Paul, when Noah walked over to her. He said, “The person Adele has always wanted to meet but never has is Dwayne Johnson. And then I found out he’s a huge fan of yours too. I don’t have Dwayne Johnson here tonight, but I do have someone called The Rock.”

During Noah’s impactful words, the audience began to buzz in the arena, and The Rock approached Adele’s table to give her a big hug. That moment of delight was so uplifting that people began to tweet about their encounter. “The best moment so far,” one person wrote. “Aww, he is just the most sweetest kindest hearted guy you can meet and like,” tweeted another.
