I think it would be very sweet to find someone to share her love of animals and conservation with, a like minded individual who has some interests to share with her. I don't feel like she would be doing any disrespect to Steve. She deserves to have love and companionship in her life and share her joys with someone. She has definitely carried out the wishes that Steve had for their family and the zoo. I think he'd be more than proud of her and would want her to be happy and have someone in her life to care for her. I hope that she finds someone special.
Bindi and Robert Irwin Are Encouraging Their Mom to Go on Dates, “They Just Want Her to Know That Happiness Again”

Terri Irwin hasn’t dated or remarried since the untimely death of her husband, Steve Irwin. But it’s been 16 years since the “Crocodile Hunter” passed, and Terri’s children believe that it’s now time for her to get back into the dating scene. And a source close to the family spilled the tea about how Bindi and Robert are trying to help their mom find happiness again.
Steve and Terri Irwin had a whirlwind romance.
The couple met in 1991 when Terri visited the zoo where Steve worked. They got engaged after 4 months and got married after another 4 months. “We were soulmates, best friends, and worked together on a mission of wildlife conservation. Best of all, we had lots of fun,” Terri said, describing their relationship.
Sadly, Steve died in 2006 from a fatal stingray accident, which happened while he was filming near the Great Barrier Reef. “We got 14 years of marriage — we had the best, most fantastic adventurous wonderful life that you could imagine,” Terri said.
“I had a big, big love, and it was enough to last a lifetime.”
Terri previously shared that she has no plans to marry again and is fine being alone. She was quoted saying, “I think when you become a young widow, it can be uncomfortable for other couples, that whole, ’Oh well, now she’s single, is she looking around?’ And my male friends are more comfortable, they can see I’m not chasing them. I’m too busy to chase anybody.”
Meanwhile, her kids have moved on to their own romances and families.
Terri’s eldest, 24-year-old Bindi, married professional wakeboarder, Chandler Powell. They have one daughter together. Bindi recently opened up about a serious reproductive condition she has been battling for a decade.
Terri’s 19-year-old son, Robert, seems to have also found love and has been spotted on dates with Rorie Buckey, who happens to be the niece of the late actor, Heath Ledger.
The kids want their mom to take the plunge and date again.
The Irwin siblings are going the extra mile to hype up their mom. Now 58 years old, Terri posted a photo for “Galentine’s Day,” where she traded her usual khakis for a beautiful floral dress. According to the source, “Bindi and Robert have been trying to get Terri to freshen up her look. She’s gorgeous under all that khaki, and she deserves to show it off.”
Another ulterior motive for dressing up their mom was to take photos of her for dating apps. Apparently, Terri is open to the idea and thinks scrolling through suitors with Bindi might be a fun activity.
“They know she’ll never find another like their dad — no such man exists. They just want their mum to know that happiness again,” the source concluded.
