Ever since the 1990s, Jennifer Aniston has remained a beauty icon and a trendsetter for millions of people. When you’ve watched Friends, you most likely wanted one of the multiple classic haircuts her character Rachel wore throughout the series. Today, it’s been nearly 2 decades since Rachel appeared on our screens for the last time. But Aniston manages to keep her beauty intact, and it seems like she never gets old.

We at Bright Side dug into the secrets of Jennifer Aniston’s beauty routine, and we want to share several good tips with our readers.

One of the most critical aspects of Aniston’s self-care routine is bringing order to her mind.

“There’s no hack to wellness,” Aniston once shared. “Wellness is a commitment you have to choose every day, and for me, it’s doing a mindful wakeup every day with no phone and having a morning to myself.” The proper morning has to have a proper continuation, so the meditation follows. Implementing meditation and a digital detox into her schedule helps her to stay grounded throughout the day.

She takes care of the food she consumes.

Aniston strongly believes that what goes in one’s body influences their overall condition. “Science is expanding, and technology is incredible, and there are all of these things that we’re learning that our parents’ generation and their parents’ generation didn’t know,” she said. “We understand now that what you put in your body affects what you look like on the outside. We’re becoming more conscious of that cycle.”

That being said, Aniston sticks to a healthy diet, consuming foods that are rich with antioxidants. Her typical breakfast looks like a glass of warm lemon water on an empty stomach. “And then I have a shake or avocado and eggs, which is one of my favorites,” she shared.

She always stays hydrated.

However, meticulously selected food is only half of Aniston’s nutrition process. The other half is water. “The best beauty tip I have for people is to sleep and drink water, honestly,” she shared.

She is shocked by the number of people who don’t consume water properly. “I’ll get mad at my friend Courteney Cox all the time because she’ll tell me she hasn’t had a sip of water today —and I’m like, ’Are you out of your mind? Water is everything,’” she said.

She constantly challenges her body.

Aniston is a big workout fan, she believes that to keep your body healthy, you have to constantly challenge it. That’s why she doesn’t stick to one specific sport, but rather, she mixes all the activities she enjoys, like yoga, boxing, and cardio. “I feel really beautiful when I finish a great workout,” she said. “I have a spin bike, an elliptical bike, and a treadmill — and I do cardio for at least 20 minutes a day.”

“Because I’ve taken care of my body, my endorphins are going, my blood is pumping. I’m taking care of the one body I have,” Aniston shared.

She has quite a simple skincare routine.

When it comes to skincare, Aniston sticks to the idea that less is more. Her routine is simple, yet it gives her skin everything needed to shine and glow. “My whole face regimen is just soap and water to wake myself up,” the actress shared. “It’s quick. I never linger too long anywhere. To be honest, things need to be as easy as possible [for me].”

However, she is quite serious about never exposing herself to the sun without wearing SPF. “My biggest beauty regret is the amount of sunbathing I used to do without sunscreen,” Aniston shared. Now, SPF is the core of her skincare routine.
