10 Engaged Celebrity Couples Who We Can’t Wait to Tie the Knot

Love might be affecting our brain in some way, studies show. And some celebrity couples are so lovesick that they decided they’d like to tie the knot as soon as possible, maybe even in 2022.

1. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker

Though Kourtney and Travis have gone on record about their relationship in February 2021, they were friends for a long time before deciding to take their relationship to the next level. 2018 was an especially important year for the two of them since they would often grab dinner, go to parties together, and generally have a good time. 3 years later, on October 16th, the two were officially engaged.

Not only do they love and adore each other in private, but on Instagram, as well! “Laugh with you for the rest of my life,” commented Travis. “My whole life,” responded Kourtney.

2. Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens

Simone and Jonathan announced their engagement on February 15th with some endearing posts to Instagram. The talented gymnast added the caption “THE EASIEST YES” followed by “I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more! Let’s get married.”

3. Taylor Lautner and Tay Dome

The two confirmed their engagement with a spectacular series of pics uploaded to Instagram on November 13th, 2021. They began dating in 2018, and so, a beautiful love story was written.

Taylor met his girlfriend through his sister, who had previously gotten acquainted with Tay. “You two couldn’t be more perfect for each other. The way that you guys compliment each other genuinely blows me away. I CANNOT believe that I gain a sister and best friend for life,” she wrote.

The two have not kept it a secret, though, that they are in love. “You make every single day spent with you so special. And most importantly, you make me a better person. I can’t thank you enough for what you’ve brought to my life. I love you forever,” wrote Taylor.

4. Kate Hudson and Danny Fujikawa

Kate and Danny have known each other for a very long time before they even started dating. The couple got together in 2016, making this a 6-year relationship.

They finally decided to get engaged in September 2021, with Kate stating that they’re very excited about the wedding and adding: “But the idea of planning a wedding is, like, a lot, it’s a lot... I made a whole movie about it.”

5. Eric Stonestreet and Lindsay Schweitzer

Eric and Lindsay were together for 5 years before getting engaged, having first met back in 2017 at a charity event in Stonestreet’s native city, Kansas City. Eric expressed that people kept on asking him why he was taking so long to ask his girlfriend to marry him.

“We’ve been together for a long time and I just knew I wasn’t going to find a better partner in life than Lindsay, so it just made the most sense. And I’d taken my sweet old time,” he said. He added that the proposal was not planned beforehand, and it was just a spontaneous moment.

6. Taylor Hill and Daniel Fryer

“My best friend, my soulmate, I’ll love you always. 06/25/21,” is the caption Taylor used to announce her and her boyfriend’s engagement. Their story begins in 2020 when they were spotted during a date in Los Angeles.

What makes the engagement all the more special is the fact that the whole family was there to witness the moment. Daniel’s parents, as well as Taylor’s sister, were there for the exciting moment.

7. Lindsay Lohan and Bader Shammas

Lindsay Lohan kept her relationship away from the public eye, finally announcing her engagement in November 2021. “My love. My life. My family. My future.” posted the actress.

Back in 2019, Lindsay went over her dream partner, stating that she’d like someone that does not use social media: “I want to date a guy that’s a businessman — doesn’t have Instagram, doesn’t have social media, and is completely off the grid in terms of that kind of stuff, I think it will happen when it’s meant to happen.” Good thing she remained hopeful, and that is exactly what she got!

Frankie and Hale proved to everyone how unique an engagement can be. Not only were they engaged weeks after his sister’s wedding, but Frankie proposed in a VR game!

“He said YES! WE’RE ENGAGED! I am so happy my best friend said he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me! Playing games and making me laugh forever!” posted Frankie. They were officially engaged on June 9th, 2021.

9. Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman

The two had been together for 13 years after finally deciding to get engaged. Simon actually proposed during a trip to Barbados, where the couple met for the first time.

Ironically, Simon did not believe in marriage, however, after meeting Lauren he fell in love, and decided this is what he truly wants: “Whilst Simon never thought he was the marrying type, he’s realized he’s met the woman of his dreams — and couldn’t be happier.”

The couple currently share a son, with one more son from Silverman’s previous relationship.

10. Lana Condor and Anthony De La Torre

To All the Boys I Loved Before star Lana Condor and Anthony De La Torre announced their engagement in January 2022. Their announcement couldn’t be done without their two dogs, who were also mentioned.

“Aside from my father, without a doubt, you are the greatest man in the world. Emmy & Timmy said it’s about time mommy & daddy got engaged!!!” said the actress. Way to go!
