I see parents, even friends, that have ugly splits or talk bad about each other in front of their kids and it makes me extremely thankful that my parents co-patented the right way.
  • Right before my dad deployed overseas, he spent his last weekend at home working on my beat-up high school car. I thought he was just doing his usual weekend tinkering in the driveway. It wasn’t until a month after he left that I brought my car in for a state inspection and the mechanic pulled me over to show me the underside.
