Even though this finding suggests that makeup has a useful role in self-presentation, some celebrities, by sharing their filter-free photos, showed that confidence has nothing to do with cosmetics.

Kelly Clarkson looks so much better without the makeup and hair and all of that. I feel SO much better knowing that some celebrity photos have been 'shopped and filtered and that they all don't look glamorous all of the time.
