With age or because of some other circumstances, our bodies and faces can change pretty significantly. A new haircut, makeup, a different clothing style, and the loss of several extra pounds can make you look like a totally new person. Sometimes, these transformations are so astonishing that even relatives are shocked.
We at Bright Side love the stories of girls that have managed to change themselves, even though it was extremely difficult.
“I finally did it! Haven’t had hair this short in almost a decade but I am in love with it!”
“My hair transformation over the last 1.5 years”
“10-15 was weird for me — 22 now and finally comfortable just being myself!”
“Age 12 to 20. Braces, proper eyebrow maintenance, my hair changing throughout the years, and growing into my nose I think really helped.”
“Weight loss progress. It’s been a 4-year journey. I am glad I am able to keep myself active and stay healthy. I have worked really hard to be where I am now. I am extremely happy to say I am participating in a beauty pageant. It feels unreal to me.”
“You can smell the confidence in one and the lack of it in the other.”
“My hard work paid off! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. Now I just have to lose the 10 lbs I gained on my honeymoon.”
“17 to 19, I’ve gotta say my high school years were not the best, appearance-wise.”
“Weight loss was a free face-lift for me.”
“Changed my hair, got contacts, cleared up my skin, and lost some weight.”
“Just a little different: from tomboy to this.”
2 years can change a lot.
“Ditched the bangs, got the braces taken off, and found better headwear.”
“13 to 25, I’m still learning to accept that I don’t look like a boy anymore.”
“10-year difference: Lost some weight, learned to do my eyebrows, and let my hair grow naturally.”
4 years apart
“The left is awkwardly developed 11-year-old me, the right is me now at 26.”
“I thought I was hardcore with that hair.”
