That is not even the same dog. The dog in the picture on the left has two different color eyes, the one on the right has ice blue eyes, just saying.

Poor baby had mange all over its body! Some human should be flogged for allowing that to go like that and the OP deserved a medal and all the love this dog gives them on the daily!
Some people are not dog people. I had my dog since he was a puppy, it's been 3 years. He absolutely does not look the same. Dogs change physically throughout the years just like humans. Not greatly but enough if you are not always around for you to say hey....is that the same dog. I have out of town visitors that will say that. I'm like yeah, same dog.
This is the exact same dog. You must have never been around abused, neglected, dumped, abandoned, starving hopeless dogs that were rescued. This is what care and compassion and never giving up looks like. This is what a stable home and nutrition looks like. This dog was failed by humans, and was lucky enough not to become a statistic among thousands and thousands of abused and neglected companion animals who never find humane treatment and die suffering and lonely, through no fault of their own.
I suggest you learn about animal abuse and what it does to these beautiful, sensitive, intelligent lives, all at the hands of cesspool humans.

I was going to disagree until I looked at her eyes. Her left eye is a different color (brown) in the first pic and the second pic her brown eye is gone. That doesn't add up.
I thought it might be an eye injury that left her one eye bloodshot, but then again, the ear colors look different, too.
