I have only ever been on a dating site once and met my husband. My exes I met organically. The best thing was you can see the person's tastes in music, films, food etc, like and dislikes, values, etc. It cuts out a lot of time because you already feel like you could really like the person because you already know a fair amount about them. I went on a ppaid site where people in the main were a lot more serious and not just looking for hook ups. He was the first I met and the attraction was instant!
A Study Suggests That If Your Relationship Started on Tinder It Could Last Forever

It could be you or your BFF that met their sweetheart through Tinder, but since ⅓ of marriages in America now start online, the following news will likely make one of you very happy. Researchers have found that couples who meet online usually enjoy a better love life.
Bright Side has put together a summary of the studies that prove this, so that you can go ahead and click on that promising profile with confidence.
Conventional ways of meeting a partner could mean less time together.
From a warm smile and a handshake to a profile picture and a swipe, things have changed quite a bit in the dating world. Since romantic sites first appeared, the way people meet potential partners and start relationships has become easier, faster, and now, as research shows, more stable.
A study, conducted by economists Philipp Hergovich, from the University of Vienna, and Josué Ortega, a researcher at the Center for European Economic Research, showed that couples who met via online dating websites and apps are more likely to be more successful when they get married, than people who started their romance through the traditional ways, like meeting through a friend, at the workplace, or at a bar.
On-line dating facilitates meeting people who look different than us.
The findings not only reveal that the internet may have provided more stability to those relationships, but also more diversity. The data revealed that after the appearance of online dating sites, the number of interracial marriages increased. Hopeful romantics now look for mutual interests, instead of similar looks, something they can identify through a potential partner’s profile. In this way, the internet helps them to connect with people who look different than they do and facilitates diversity within these couples.
This is not the first time that scientists have come to this conclusion.
These findings are backed by previous research conducted by psychologist John T. Cacioppo, from the University of Chicago. He looked into the data and life of more than 19,000 married couples and concluded that those who met through an online dating site were not only more satisfied with their relationships than couples who met offline, but were also less prone to end up filing for divorce.
People are now approaching online dating as a way to start a genuine love story.
Stereotypes about the authenticity of a relationship that started online have slowly and steadily gone down, so it may only be a matter of time before you find your next special someone through your smartphone.
Have you ever met someone online that stayed close to your heart? Why do you believe that these online couples are more satisfied than their counterparts? Explain your thoughts below!

I personally used Tinder but it didn't work out, but I still think it can work
Well, there is a difference between meeting someone online and on Tinder.
Couples who met online might stay or might not, cause they don't always see each other, while people who met on tinder have higher chances to keep their relationship
