An Artist Who Just Wanted to Make a Girl Laugh Now Has Millions of Fans

Jason and Ymei are a young couple from Pinang, better known as "The Potato Couple". 5 years ago, Jason started drawing funny pictures and posting them on Facebook and Ymei helped him promote them on social media sites like Instagram.
By 2016, they grew to be J&Y Productions and published their first book of comics about "The Potato Couple". It was incredibly popular in Malaysia and Singapore in addition to their homeland. In 2017, they released a new book which was geared toward western readers.
