Sharon and Ozzy’s Story Proves Infidelity Stands No Chance in the Face of Real Love

Marriage is hard. Statistics confirm that almost 50% of all marriages in America may end in divorce or separation. It’s even harder when the couple lives in the public eye, and one of them is a famous rock star. However, the heroes of our article are living proof that true love can overcome any troubles.

We at Bright Side want to share the story of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne to show that love always wins.

How the 40-year-long love story began

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne first met in 1970. By that time, Ozzy had already had one marriage behind him. Sharon was an 18-year-old daughter of the owner of the label that Ozzy’s band, Black Sabbath, was signed to.

It took the couple 9 years to start their relationship. In 1979, Ozzy was fired. Sharon headed all the way out to Los Angeles after him and began managing his career there. They started dating the same year and tied the knot in 1982 in Hawaii.

They were happily living together with their children.

Soon after Sharon and Ozzy had officially become a family, Sharon gave birth to their 3 kids: 2 daughters, Aimee and Kelly, and their youngest, a son named Jack. In 2002, the family launched their reality show, The Osbournes, on MTV, exposing the life of a rock star family to a wide audience.

A stumble that almost set them apart

However, their life together was not always peaceful. In 2016, the couple split up because it was revealed that Ozzy cheated on Sharon. “I broke her heart,” Ozzy later confessed.

Even though it was a difficult time, Sharon was coping with everything she had to go through. “I am empowered, and I have found this inner strength, and I’m like, ’Right, okay, what’s next?’ I can handle this,” she said.

However, the love and gratitude toward Ozzy were still present. “I love Ozzy dearly,” Sharon shared. “He’s given me an unbelievable life. He’s given me 3 gorgeous children.”

But their love eventually won.

The split didn’t last long. In 2017, the couple got back together after renewing their wedding vows. “It was hard to rebuild the trust, but I can’t imagine my life without Ozzy,” Sharon confessed after the ceremony. “The ceremony was just beautiful. We’ve fallen in love all over again.”

Ozzy was happy to get a chance for a new beginning. “For me, this was actually our real wedding day,” said Ozzy. “This is the one that I will remember. Sharon and I have been through so much, and this honestly feels like a new beginning.”

Now, they can’t imagine their lives without each other.

The couple has been together for more than 4 decades. They’ve overcome different circumstances together and, at this point, can’t imagine being without each other.

“Without Sharon, I am nothing,” said Ozzy. “I love her. I can honestly say that I have never loved anybody other than my wife.” Sharon also cannot imagine spending her life with another man. “I know if anything, God forbid, ever happened to my husband, I would not want to get married again, ever, ever, ever,” she confessed.
