It’s a Boy! Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Welcome Their First Child and Prove They Were Truly Meant to Be

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s relationship spans 10 years. They become a couple in 2020, and back in January the couple announced their pregnancy. Now they welcome their first child, a baby boy, and are excited to be parents. Rihanna is doing well after and all three of them are now home in Los Angeles.

They both started in music and have ventured into different industries.

Rihanna is an entrepreneur, singer, actor, and now a mom. She was born in Barbados and entered the industry when she was 14 when she signed a record deal with Jay-Z. She loves to express herself through makeup and launched Fenty Beauty in 2017.

A$AP Rocky began his career in 2011 when he signed a record deal and has released three albums. He also has a love of fashion and modelled for Dior Homme.

They met whilst performing at an awards show.

They’ve known each other for about 10 years and first met whilst performing at the 2012 MTV VMAs. A year after they performed at the VMAs, A$AP Rocky joined Rihanna on her world tour.

They didn’t start dating until 2020. They went on a cross-country road trip together from LA to New York. She said, “He became my family in that time.” A$AP Rocky said Rihanna was the love of his life.

Rihanna took A$AP Rocky to Barbados to meet her family.

When Rihanna introduced A$AP Rocky to her mom, she said, “My mother has a really good read on people. She observes first and then she’ll move slowly. I guess I’m like that too. But she was charmed by him from the jump.”

The couple announced they were pregnant.

In January 2022 the couple was taking a walk in Harlem, New York. This was the first time they were seen and Rihanna showed off her baby bump.

In an interview, Rihanna spoke about how she is inspired by moms who allow their kids to be who they are. But she feels like she is going to a mom who fights for her child, “Psycho about it.” She is excited to be a mom and couldn’t be happier.
