Mom Boarding a Plane Hands Out 200 Goodie Bags on Behalf of Her 4-Month-Old Son, and This Gesture Changed a Lot
Nobody likes having a crying baby next to them while on a plane, especially if the flight is going to be a long one. The mother of our story knows this too, which is why she found a way to warm and touch other passenger’s hearts with her thoughtful deed. After Facebook user Dave Corona posted this story on the internet, it went viral.
Bright Side admires thoughtful people and got touched by this story.
It was going to be a long 10-hour flight from Seoul to San Francisco. The passengers were taking their seats while boarding, when suddenly a young woman with an infant in her arms stood up and started to give out little bags to everyone. And she wasn’t asking for anything in return.
The bags contained some sweets, a pair of earplugs, and a note saying:
“Hello, I’m Junwoo and I’m 4 months old. Today I am going to the U.S. with my mom and grandmom to see my aunt. I’m a little bit nervous and scared because it’s my first flight in my life, which means that I may cry or make too much noise. I will try to travel quietly, though I can’t make any promises. So my mom prepared a little goodie bag for you! It has some candies and earplugs. Please use them when it’s too noisy because of me. Enjoy your trip. Thank you.”
Everyone was touched by this noble action, however the passengers didn’t even get a chance to use the earplugs because Junwoo never cried through the whole flight — so they just enjoyed the sweets. Anyway, they decided to thank this unknown woman by posting her story on the internet.
The story instantly went viral and many people left comments about it. Some admired her smart idea, while others were saying we should be more understanding toward parents with little kids on airplanes, and that she didn’t have to go through all this effort.
What do you think of this story? Would you appreciate this gesture? We would be glad to hear from you in the comments!
